tracy knight
My love of interiors and blending of styles was cultivated at a young age. I was 4 when I remember being fascinated with my Grandmother’s creative process with her Interior Designer. The textiles and furniture planning I can still remember as it was just yesterday. I started to rearrange the furniture and eclectic possessions that my family accumulated through all our moves and then as a young adult out on my own. When I was 30, I was lucky enough to go back to school and earn my BA degree in Architectural Design at Marylhurst in Lake Oswego, OR. After this I started Tracy Knight Interior in 1998 and have never looked back! I have worked for several different design studios over the years in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Charlotte NC always having Tracy Knight Interiors to help showcase my portfolio and for jobs in between.

Now I live in the Southport NC area where I continue to love my work of Architecture and Design, always staying abreast of the newest trends in art, architecture, textiles and furnishing both European & Domestic. My years of experience have shaped my philosophy to create homes and spaces that tell a story that is uniquely your and unlike anyone else. I love giving my clients what is most important to them. Usually that is a home or a room that is not just uniquely beautiful, but also practical for daily living. I take my clients wishes and ideas and add the right amount of style and know-how to create the perfect space for them.
